‘VW’ The Peoples Engineer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on of Engineer Victor Wetala Wanyama, otherwise, know as ‘VW’ on Friday, 16th August 2019 after a short illness. The late engineer was the energy of the electrical department at the State Department of Public Works and will be sorely missed by his colleagues and the entire Engineering Fraternity. A sample of the condolences shared by his colleagues express the impact he had on many:

Very sad indeed for the loss of a very brilliant engineer, friend and a man of the people. May the Almighty God intervene for the family at this trying moment. RIP my big brother

I am still trying to get over the tragic news. His life is an inspiration to me, his vision of life was remarkable…the community has lost one of its very best…shine on your way Uncle Victor…

The cruel hand of death…….an enemy who always overtake us n leave pain and sorrow behind. I wish the family comfort and endurance now, together with the hope of resurrection. N so so sad.
