A team of officers from the State Department for Public Works with experts from the ICT ministry busy at work developing an e-library for the Kenya Building Research Centre (KBRC). They are in Naivasha at the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organisation Centre (KALRO). The e-library alongside a website will go a long way in meeting the needs of those interested in new research on alternative and cheaper building materials.

PSs Major General(Retired) Gordon Kihalangwa(Right),Public Works, Charles Hinga(left) Housing and Urban Development and Zainab Hussein(Correctional Services) cut the tape to officially commission 60 housing units at GK King’ong’o prison in Nyeri town today. The units will house prison wardens at the correctional services facility.
