It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Arch. Patrick Maina Gituthu which occurred on 16th October, 2020 at Metropolitan Hospital after a short illness.
He was a serving officer at the State Department for Public Works- Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development & Public Works and assigned to the National Building Inspectorate (NBI). His service to the country spans over 35 years at the Ministry
Members of Staff at the State Department shared their condolences:
It is tragic. I will miss him as a former school mate and workmate. May God comfort us and family.
Fare thee well Architect Gituthu.. Condolences to the family and friends…
Deeply saddening😢 deeply shocking. His demise comes a week after serving with him on assignment in Bomet. He was charismatic and hardworking. Architect PM endeared himself to many- generous with a funny bone. He mentored and trained many during this mission. Architect PM left a lasting impression and a rich legacy. He will be sorely missed. Adios comrade😢 Till we meet again….
So sad. The cruel hand of death that always overtakes us, leaving behind pain and sorrow. May the hope of resurrection sustains the family at this painful time.
Rest In Peace my friend Architect Maina. May lord grant the family peace and comfort during this trying period.
Arch Gitutho God loved you more and he has called you earlier than as. As Christians, we believe in life after death and thus we shall eventually be together in eternity. RIP comrade whom, together were the first team in NBI where you gave all your talents in its formation
I’ve known Patrick since September 1986, he was a very hardworking person with kind words all the time to all people, it’s unfortunate that he’s no more, may his family get solace from the Almighty God
Ooooh nooo!!.Soo sad to loose a friend, colleague and my neighbour. We pray that the family gets comfort in the lord’s arms. May his soul rest in eternal perfect peace. Go well Architect
He will be laid to rest in Muranga, Mathioya, Gacharage-ini village on Friday 23th October, 2020 at 8:00am.
