Today the 23rd of June, 2021, the State Department for Public Works joined other ministries and departments to commemorate and celebrate Africa Public Service Day (APSD). The day is embedded in the African Union (AU) calendar and this year’s theme is Building forward better: Re-imagining the Public Service through Digitization. The State Department for Public Works celebrated the day virtually owing to the challenges posed by Covid-19 pandemic by inviting it’s internal and external stakeholders on what the department has been in-line with the theme.
